QUEBEC, CANADA: Twitch streamer Adept posted some defamatory claims on her official Instagram account on September 30, 2023. She claimed that her ex-partner xQc had asked his moderators to have sex with him.
The two Twitch streamers have been at odds for a while now over their purported marriage and personal connection. Both have leveled numerous accusations at each other throughout the course of this period.
Adept accuses xQc of asking sexual favors from moderators
Adept posted a story on Instagram stating, “Any streamers out there that are desperate enough to have sex with their head moderators when they're lonely...don't talk about it with them over Discord.”
She posted a second Instagram Story in which she wrote, “Preaching about life "choices" when you choose to pay your mod thousands to f**k you?”
xQc is likely the target of Adept's accusations even if the names in the pictures are obscured. Thus, there is no definitive proof.
It is clear from one of the screenshots of xQc's Discord chats that he was talking about a substantial quantity of money, which was noted as "10K" in the conversation logs.
“Maybe it's time to stop waffling every now and then,” she wrote.
xQc responds to Adept's allegations
Through his Instagram Stories, Felix has addressed the accusations, however, his reaction was ambiguous. He related a few Stories, one of which seemwd to hint toward Adept and their relationship in some way.
“Imagine ruining your life over ego. Millions of options and continuously choosing the worst ones,” xQc wrote.
He posted another update stating, “What a sad way to go down.”
The moderator's identity is still a mystery, and it's also unclear how Adept got access to the conversation logs. Whether this circumstance will have any legal repercussions is still to be seen.
