LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: xQc and Pokimane's feud intensified amid Twitch gambling ban controversy.
French-Canadian Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel, better known as xQc, has stirred the pot in his ongoing feud with Imane Anys, better known as Pokimane, by labeling her a 'loser' for liking tweets related to the Twitch gambling ban. The heated exchange comes as the two streamers trade jabs over their respective roles in the controversy.
xQc dismisses Pokimane's stance on gambling ban
In the latest development of the xQc-Pokimane feud, xQc responded to a clip where Pokimane seemed to take a dig at him. The clip focused on a tweet or post Pokimane had liked, which implied xQc was annoyed by her efforts to ban gambling on Twitch.
However, xQc clarified that he harbors no resentment towards Pokimane, and he attributed the Twitch ban on gambling content, particularly Stake.com, to another streamer, Sliker. xQc stated that he believes Pokimane's involvement did not influence the ban, but it was Sliker's actions that were pivotal.
xQc said, "What happened those days gave me the biggest contract of my life and quadrupled my net worth and increased my world settings by 100x."
xQc fires shots at critics and defends Kick deal
Addressing the criticism he faced for his Kick deal, which involved Pokimane and HasanAbi, xQc defended the partnership, stating that only "losers" see it as a failure. He emphasized that the deal opened new doors and opportunities for him, expressing gratitude for the positive outcomes.
Pokimane replied to this, "One of the things that the past week or two has shown me is that there are some people who just seem to have a bias against me because of my standing against gambling and that's totally fine. That's there prerogative. But I just want everyone in my chat to know, you guys don't need to talk about them."
The ongoing feud between xQc and Pokimane has become a point of interest in the Twitch community, with both streamers using social media platforms to share their perspectives and take shots at each other.
xQc said, "I never ever, not even once, got back at Poki for getting (involved in the gambling ban). The only thing I was mad about was the virtue signalling. It's not that big of an infraction to do virtue signalling but I'm still within my rights to call it out when I see it."
In response to those who criticized his Kick deal (including Pokimane and HasanAbi), he said: "There's only one type of person that sees these things as a failure and it is losers who do that. It opened new doors and new opportunities and I'm thankful for that I don't have any regrets over that any day."
