KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds was seen enjoying a game with pop icon Taylor Swift this weekend.
Now, fans seem convinced that the Hollywood actor might cajole the singer to bring her to the Racecourse Ground.
The 'Deadpool' actor and the 'Shake It Off' singer both watched the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the New York Jets in a box together, alongside Reynolds' wife Blake Lively and his 'Deadpool 3' co-star Hugh Jackman.
Taylor Swift seemed to enjoy the match alongside Ryan Reynolds
The Chiefs won the game 23-20, with Swift appearing to enjoy herself, as she smiled in the box alongside Reynolds.
The Grammy Award winner came to watch her partner Travis Kelce who plays for the Chiefs. The 33-year-old was seen grabbing the actor's arm at one point as she laughed with him while holding a drink during the game.
Fans are optimistic that the new friendship with Reynolds might prompt her to become the latest big name star on the way to Wales in the near future.
Ryan Reynolds had already teased his fans
The superstar had already started teasing that celebrities such as Swift and Beyonce could appear at the Racecourse one day and fans were excited by the two being spotted together.
Reynolds told the 'Fearless in Devotion' podcast that he and co-owner Rob McElhenney would love to see prominent personalities grace their ground.
"We're going to need some more seats Rob", Reynolds said according to Daily Mail. "They play the biggest of the big stadiums. I would love to see any band, either ones I grew up listening to or ones I've found as an adult. What a venue the Racecourse is, I love that that's happening now" he added.
He continued, "I love that The Kings of Leon are playing. That's a huge act and here they are and we are so excited to host them for not one but two dates."
Internet users react to the speculation
The 'Rob Ryan Red' podcast pointed out that the duo was at the game together on Sunday, October 1, saying it was Reynolds' "latest attempt to convince her to come to the Racecourse."
Another replied saying they wanted to see her perform a show at the stadium.
"I hope so. My daughter has been unable to get a ticket for the tour next year despite hours on end hanging online to buy. Would be brilliant to see her at the Racecourse with us Wrexham fans getting priority. Please...?," another commented.
One said, "Make it happen Ryan!" while another made a reference to the singer's hit song 'You Belong to Me,' writing, "She wears high heels I wear Wrexham shirts."
"C’mon @VancityReynolds
make it happen! Wrexham needs Taylor Swift at the Cae Ras!" tweeted one.
