NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ host Robin Roberts has kept her promise to all her fans after giving them a glimpse of the floral arrangements and decor for her wedding day.
This transpired only after the 62-year-old anchor tweeted about how bad she felt for not “inviting” everyone to her “big day”. Roberts felt that she owes the fans a glimpse of the decor that’ll be used for the wedding, to make them feel a part of their celebration.
Roberts is engaged to be married to her longtime partner Amber Laign in two weeks and the couple has been busy preparing for their wedding.
Earlier ‘GMA’ showed a clip of Roberts and Laign trying on their dresses for the wedding and later, the duo was spotted at a cake tasting for their big day.
However, during the Tuesday, August 29, 2023, episode of the morning show, Robin fulfilled her promise and gave all the fans a bigger glimpse into her wedding day preparations.

The ‘GMA’ host had earlier tweeted, “Being a proud Southerner, I wish I could invite everyone to our wedding, but since I can't, I'll give you a glimpse at the flowers and decor our family and guests can expect to see on our big day.”
She added, “As my momma used to say, "You can't put a limit on gratitude.” Again, Sweet Amber and I thank you for all your support.”
And it turns out, Roberts was serious about keeping her promise to her fans.
‘GMA’ showed a clip of Roberts and Laign meeting their wedding planner JoAnn Gregoli. The brides-to-be visited Gregoli at Jen Gould Event Design's brick-and-mortar location in New York for ‘GMA’s' Road to Ring segment.
Roberts and Laign happily walked into the establishment to check out the floral arrangements and decor for their upcoming wedding.
Gregoli first showed the couple a green hedge garden wall that had a monogram of the first initial in Roberts’ and Laign’s name.

The wedding planner gave Roberts and Laign a preview of "what the overall room [used for their wedding reception] would look like.”
At this point, both Roberts and Laign gasped and were stunned to witness the decoration for their “big day”.
Placed along the tables were floral bouquets made of pastel pink, white, and orange roses, along with pink tulips.
There were also champagne flutes with gold trim, gold-colored candles, and white plate settings rimmed with gold arranged on the tables, and a white linen tablecloth beneath everything.
The couple was beaming when they checked out the dinner setup for their wedding day. Roberts and Laign are expected to tie the knot over the Labor Day weekend.
