LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears' former housekeeper, Paul Richard Soliz has reportedly formed a close connection with Grammy-winning singer following her split from husband Sam Asghari.
Soliz, 37, who has an extensive criminal record, has allegedly been spending time with the singer, as reported by Page Six on Thursday, August 24. Concerns have reportedly arisen over the emerging relationship between the two.
How did Britney Spears and Paul Richard Soliz meet?
Soliz and the 'Toxic' artist reportedly crossed paths for the first time approximately a year ago. According to an insider, Spears had hired Soliz to work at her Thousand Oaks, California mansion, where his responsibilities included cleaning toilets, mopping floors, and collecting trash.
Despite being let go from his role, Spears has now actively chosen to spend time with Soliz. Their burgeoning friendship remains noticeable, as the singer is openly embracing their connection and not attempting to keep it under wraps.
Earlier, Spears was seen in Calabasas, California, driving a white Mercedes-Benz alongside an unidentified man wearing a San Francisco Giants baseball cap in the passenger seat. The singer was seen stopping by a Starbucks drive-thru during their daytime outing.
The 'Gimme More' singer has faced accusations of allegedly cheating on Asghari with a "housekeeper" during their 14-month marriage.
Paul Richard Soliz's run-ins with the law
Paul Richard Soliz has a history of multiple legal encounters. Based on legal records obtained by Page Six, Soliz was convicted in December 2022 for felony firearm possession while he was employed by the singer.
In 2016, Soliz faced a conviction for driving without a license, but a charge for driving with a suspended license was dropped through a plea deal that same year.
Additionally, the outlet referenced court documents to report that Soliz was convicted in April 2014 in connection with disturbing the peace. He also reached a plea agreement to have a child endangerment charge dismissed.
Lately, Spears has been keeping her distance from friends and family due to past struggles, like the 13-year conservatorship led by her father Jamie Spears.
Her main support comes from her manager, legal team, and older brother Bryan Spears. According to a source, Bryan is staying with her, and a therapist is also involved in offering help.
