TOMBALL, TEXAS: A terrifying incident of an alleged killing of a man by his lover's husband has shocked a community in Tomball, Texas. Narciso Banos has been accused of tying up and beating Francisco Antonio Serrano Romero to death.
As per the criminal complaint, Banos, "bound the Complainant’s arms with straps and a belt and struck the Complainant about the head, face and body with Defendant’s hands, feet, and with a blunt object," and murdered the man on Saturday, August 12.
Who is Narciso Banos?
Narciso Cruz Banos reportedly discovered that 32-year-old Romero engaged in an affair with his 42-year-old wife Francisca Salazar Carrizales.
Both the alleged killer and his wife who are described as Houston-area electrical business partners and parents of two children aged 11 and 12 are reportedly not US citizens, reported Law and Crime.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, cops discovered a body in a "detached structure" on the alleged murderer's 11555 Ezekiel Road property after the victim's wife reported his missing and requested a welfare check.
"Romero had been reported missing by a family member and was last known to be at the Ezekiel address," stated the sheriff’s office.
After Romero sounded injured during a phone call, the victim's wife called the authorities. The victim initially claimed that he would be staying at his boss' house on Thursday, August 10 before heading to work the next day.
KHOU reported that when he failed to show up, the woman contacted Banos, who reportedly confessed to assaulting her husband and revealed the affair to the victim's wife.
What are the charges against Narciso Banos?
The investigation after officers arrived at Banos' residence unveiled a chilling scene, akin to the fictional Dexter series, as the victim's remains were found inside a "detached structure" which appeared to be a shipping container.
"Deputies located a detached structure on the property and found what appeared to be a human body, wrapped in plastic, secured with tape, inside the structure," stated authorities.
Banos who has been charged with murder, aggravated kidnapping, and tampering with evidence was booked Sunday, August 13.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Carrizales was also booked into the Harris County Jail after she was charged with tampering with a human corpse.
As per Harris County court records, Banos was arrested in neighboring Montgomery County in 2020 for a second DWI offense after his 1997 DWI case. In 2021, he also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in that case.
