NEW YORK CITY: In the midst of former President Donald Trump's ongoing civil fraud trial in New York, all eyes turned to the courtroom sketch artist, Jane Rosenberg, who recently captured Ivanka Trump on the witness stand.

Rosenberg's depiction of the former first daughter during her testimony has ignited a flurry of memes and online commentary, with some critics accusing the artist of harboring ill feelings towards Ivanka.

Ivanka Trump takes the stand in Donald Trump's $250M lawsuit

Ivanka, 41, appeared in a New York courtroom to testify in her father's $250 million lawsuit, led by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

The lawsuit alleges that the former president and his sons, Donald Jr and Eric, inflated the value of their assets for years on financial documents, potentially by as much as $2.2 billion in one year, with the aim of securing favorable loan and insurance terms.

Rosenberg's courtroom sketch of Ivanka depicts her in a pensive moment, with her long blond hair framing her face.

While courtroom cameras were not permitted, many online observers criticized the portrayal as unflattering, suggesting that the artist may have a personal grudge against the former first daughter.

Jane Rosenberg's sketches continue to make waves

However, Rosenberg is no stranger to courtroom sketch artistry after she became widely known for her sketch of a disdainful Donald during his arraignment in April, which gained popularity and even graced the cover of the New Yorker.

Rosenberg's sketch of Ivanka also made its way into late-night television humor, as Jimmy Fallon playfully remarked that he was excited to "complete [his] set of Trump courtroom sketch trading cards."

The skit on 'The Tonight Show' even featured mock trading cards of various Trump family members, including Eric and Don Jr, who had previously made a light-hearted request to Rosenberg to "make me look sexy" during their appearances.

Online reactions ranged from humorous to harsh. Some individuals questioned whether Rosenberg was motivated by jealousy of Ivanka's beauty.

However, others came to Rosenberg's defense, arguing that the sketch was one of the better portrayals in the courtroom.

Despite the online commentary and memes, Rosenberg defended her depiction of Ivanka describing her as "stunningly beautiful" but noted the challenge of capturing her subtleties in such a brief timeframe.

An Internet user mocked the sketch by saying, "Damn what did ivanka trump do that court sketch artist cause this feels like a grudge."

Another user added, "Ivanka demanded a few touchups of that sketch. Here is the result"

A third rection read, "Ohhh boy !!!!!" "Minus the blonde locks..."
