AURORA, COLORADO: A Colorado woman in blackface terrified the staff at Target and demanded to know "where the Pride area was" on Tuesday, August 1. Ersilia Campbell walked into a store in Aurora, Colorado, and approached an employee, who informed her that Pride month had ended. Before leaving, she asserted that the LGBT community had permanently seized control of the American flag, Daily Mail reports.
Campbell afterward went to a nearby Starbucks to vent about getting fired from her Post Office job. She had reportedly received a trespassing warning, and her former coworkers were instructed to contact law enforcement and the US Postal Inspection Service if they saw her on the property. Customers at Target captured Campbell's rage on camera and posted it to social media, and it has since circulated online, earning her a ton of flak.
Who is Ersilia Campbell?
Ersilia Campbell was sacked from her employment at the post office in February. However, a trespassing notice was posted at her former workplace on Tuesday, warning coworkers to contact the police and the US Postal Inspection Service if they saw her. She gleefully uploaded it on her Facebook page, where she called the employees "some of the loneliest, miserable, trashiest, lazy people in my life."
'Where's your Pride section?'
A woman is heard in the video calling her a disgusting person, to which Campbell answered, "You're a horrible person." "You're literally doing blackface in the middle of the store," a person recording adds. Campbell justified herself by adding, "Lester Holt did whiteface and nobody said s***," referring to the television anchor's Halloween costume as Scottish singer Susan Boyle. She exclaimed as she swiftly left, "Where's your Pride section? I need to know," at an employee who apparently explained Pride month was over. "I thought they were celebrating this and they took our flag forever. No? I was wrong my bad," she went on. "I don't shop at Target, I just take pictures." Before the video concluded, Campbell told the person taking the video that she would like to put it on her Facebook page and that her friends would "love it."
'They will never recognize my picture now'
Another video shows her in a neighboring Starbucks wearing a t-shirt covered in stickers supporting Donald Trump. "Hey Facebook, I'm looking for a job today," she said. "I am at Starbucks, I never treat myself to Starbucks since the post office got rid of me. I barely treated myself to Starbucks when I was working there, I couldn't afford it." She then displays her Trump stickers and declares, "Trump is coming." "Wish me luck, I am going to the post office for a job," she added. "They will never recognize my picture now. You can put me on the FBI wanted list."
'She seriously needs help or jail'
Customers at Target captured Campbell's rage on camera and posted it to social media, and it has since circulated online, earning her a ton of flak. One social media user also remarked on TizzyEnt's video on Twitter, saying, "Beyond disturbing. She needs to be locked up. Frightening." "Troubled individual for sure," wrote another. "Lock her up," wrote another. "This is frightening behavior. Thank goodness the people at Target stopped the one woman from fighting her. Who knows what could have happened," commented another. A person claimed, "Looking through some of her FB page, she seriously needs help or jail."
