MCCOMB, MISSISSIPPI: Britney Spears' high school sweetheart Donald 'Reg' Jones has come forward to join the singer's fans in slamming her former boyfriend, Justin Timberlake.
Speaking to the New York Post, Jones expressed his disappointment with the 'Cry Me a River' singer's alleged behavior during his relationship with Spears as her memoir 'The Woman In Me' claimed Timberlake asked her to have an abortion.

Talking about Timberlake's past with Spears, Jones of McComb, Mississippi said, "Any man that is gonna ask a woman to have an abortion? Then he is a piece of s**t in my book."
In her tell-all, the 'Toxic' singer became pregnant during her relationship with Timberlake in the early 2000s.
However, he reportedly asked her to get an abortion because he was not ready to become a father.
Their relationship that begin in 1999 ended three years later in 2002.
Jones then bashed the 'Cry Me a River' crooner and asked him to "f*****g man up!"

Jones who is "currently single" is a divorced landscaper and he dated Spears from 1996 to 1998.
"She didn’t want to go do Hollywood. She’d been there dancing, singing long enough," said Jones.
"And she was just wanting to be normal and live a normal life and go to high school, and stay datin’ me I guess. Whatever," he said.
"But as far as the Hollywood, that crap? Look at the road it took her down. My heart goes out to her," he added.
Jones further talked about Spears' mother Lynne Spears whom he said "controlled all aspects" of the singer's life.
"Britney and I were arranged to date. Her mama got me to go out with her. Her mama got us to break up," Jones said.
"Her mama controlled all aspects of her life. We just didn’t see it at the time. Every aspect you can imagine, she’d control," he added.

Admitting that he wants Spears to return to him, Jones who dated the singer in high school at the Parklane Academy, said, "I would just be ears for her and make her laugh."
"If she wants to talk about [the past] — fine. I’m not here to talk about that lifestyle. I want her to be back in the normal life. The normal mind frame," he said.

In 2021, Jones auctioned Spears' break-up letter. When asked why he would be a good fit for his former beau, Jones said, "I’m ME, dude!."
"My morals, my standards, my values. How I was raised. The people that I’m around now that I’ve always been around, and Britney has been around those people as well. She just got yanked out of that," he continued.
