COLUMBUS, GEORGIA: An Amber Alert was issued for two Georgia girls who were abducted. Kylie Horne, 11, and Kylann Harper, 4, were reportedly taken from a Burger King in Columbus.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children issued the America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response (AMBER) Alert.
According to the alert, the two girls, Kylie Horne and Kylann Harper, "are believed to be in extreme danger."
The Columbus Police Department said the two girls were last seen at a Burger King located at 7301 Veterans Parkway in Columbus, Georgia, around 11.52 am on October 15.
Suspects for Kylie Horne and Kylann Harper's abduction identified
The police have identified the two adult female suspects, 49-year-old Mikaela Harrell and Kaila Spires. NCMEC said Spires is the mother of the girls, per Fox 5 Atlanta.
The girls are believed to be in Harrell's custody as per the Amber Alert.
The suspect, Harell, is described as a White woman who is 5 ft 7 in tall and weighs 158 pounds. She reportedly has straight, brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen with the two girls.
Harper is 3 ft 4 in tall and weighs about 35 pounds, with red hair and green eyes. She was wearing a long-sleeved shirt and pants before being abducted.
Horne, on the other hand, is 4 ft 9 in tall, weighs 75 pounds, and has brown, straight, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white Croc shoes.
Suspects of Burger King abduction may be headed toward Ocilla
One of the suspects, Harrel, was last seen in a 2011 blue/gray Honda CRV SUV with a Georgia tag of TGS7835. However, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation reported that the suspects may have switched the cars, and now they could be in a 2004 Gold Lexus with a Georgia license plate SBZ8631.
Police believe the two suspects and the abducted girls may be moving to Ocilla, which is in the south of Georgia.
The police have not found a connection between the two suspects yet.
