According to records acquired exclusively by The US Sun, the 'RHONY' star was living in a studio apartment in a premium building in Manhattan's Kips Bay neighborhood when she fell behind on her rent.
Sai's problems with the rental began in August 2009, when she received a notification that she was overdue on her payments and that legal action would be taken soon.
She ultimately stated that she was behind due to a sublet agreement and that she expected to pay the remaining amount in February 2010 and renew the lease.
However, it appeared that her unpaid obligation had risen to $12,185.60 in arrears by that time.
The building's attorney also claimed she owed $1,000 in legal and marshal expenses, as well as $2,008.17 in rent for February.
She asked permission on February 17 to "move all my possessions out of the apartment by the end of the month." The reality star was ultimately permitted to reclaim her stuff from the flat in March, and according to court documents, she had already paid $5,500 towards her claimed outstanding debt.
