DIXON, KENTUCKY: '1000-lb Sisters' star Amy Slaton and her ex-husband Michael Halterman have moved on amid their messy split. However, Amy and Michael also finalized their divorce on September 6 after they parted ways in February 2023.
According to the court documents obtained by The Sun, "Marital settlement agreement is approved and incorporated by reference as if set forth verbatim and the parties are ordered to obey the terms thereof."
Michael had originally filed for dissolution of marriage with children against Amy on March 13. The now ex-couple had a long messy court battle spanning six months.
However, Amy has reportedly moved on from Michael and has been living with her new boyfriend Tony Rodgers in Kentucky. Tony originally hails from Battle Creek, Michigan, but moved to the Bluegrass State to be with the reality television personality.
Meanwhile, Michael is currently living with his mother after he was ordered to move out of their marital Kentucky home.
Who gets the child custody of Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman's kids?
Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman shared split custody of their two children, Gage and Glenn, after a long custody battle. Previously, it was revealed that Michael believed he should be given joint custody because he has been a 'caregiver' to his two sons since their birth, along with Amy.
Gage and Glenn will have a shared parenting schedule that will allow both Amy and Michael to maximize the amount of available parenting time.
The TLC couple welcomed to Gage in November 2020. In January 2022, the former couple announced they were expecting another baby.
Amy Slaton drops domestic violence charges against Michael Halterman
Amy reportedly filed an emergency protection order against Michael on February 28 following an alleged fight that became violent. However, the protection order was reportedly amended on March 8, allowing Michael to have supervised visits with Gage and Glenn while accompanied by his mother and sister.
Amy has since dropped the domestic violence charges against Michael during their court hearing in May, with a civil restraining order filed separately.
'1000-lb Sisters' star Tammy Slaton claims Amy's new boyfriend is 'terrible' with kids
Amy Slaton has moved on with her new beau Tony Rodgers just a few months after splitting from Michael Halterman. The couple reportedly has been serious about each other and also lives together.
However, '1000-lb Sisters' star Tammy Slaton appeared to disapprove of her sister Amy's relationship with Tony. According to The Sun, Tammy thinks Amy's boyfriend, Tony, is 'a piece of c**p.'
A source told the outlet that Tammy feels as if Amy is 'rushing into the relationship' even though her younger sisters just see him as 'a rebound.' Tony has reportedly been spending lots of time with Amy's two sons she shares with Michael, Gage and Glenn.
However, the source also revealed that Tammy noted, "Tony is terrible with the kids."
