LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Miley Cyrus is reminiscing about the time she spent in her Malibu house, which the singer shared with her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.

The ‘Flowers’ star on her TikTok account, shared the good old times on Tuesday, August 29. Cyrus revealed that she wrote her first album 'Meet Miley Cyrus' with producer Matthew Wilder in the Malibu home she’d later share with Hemsworth.

Where did Miley write her first studio album?

"The Meet Miley Cyrus record was really where I started writing my own songs as a solo artist, and so I was working with a producer in Malibu that lived in a house in Ramirez Canyon, which I would've never known 15 years later I would be living in that house, which would eventually burn down," said the 33-year-old singer-songwriter.

"That house had so much magic to it. It ended up really changing my life."

Cyrus is doing a series on her social media platform as part of a promotion of her latest release ‘Use to Be Young.’

The 'Adore You' crooner lived in the Malibu house with Hemsworth, 33, until the structure was burned down by the devastating California wildfires in November 2018. A source later claimed that the duo had planned to get hitched in the ocean-side home, according to People.

The ex-couple later married at Cyrus' Nashville home before separating the following year and agreeing to their divorce in 2020.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, the artist shared, “Where I am in life right now is very complex, even to myself. So I wrote something that, in my mind, could maybe come before our conversation.”

While sharing her process, Cyrus said, “It was 3:30 in the morning, and I couldn’t sleep.” The words started pouring out and she typed all of it on her cellphone. “The wilder I am, the faster pace I’m going,” Cyrus added.

What did Miley say on her creative process?

The 'Slide Away' musician while talking about her writing style said, "I try to be true to myself in every state of being. When I can, I will stand still, work through, sit in, observe, and get to know exactly “who that is” privately. My creative process comes from feeling inspired by life experiences, not pressured by industry standards."

"I will never put my own plan before nature’s, or jeopardize personal growth for professional advantage. That said, if it’s a time in my life like now where I am publicly sharing my stories, my music, my art, 'who I am' unfolds in front of everyone and we go through all of this together, she said.
