LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sherri Shepherd has landed in hot water after she called pop sensation Britney Spears "crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy and crazy.”
The outspoken host's comment came during a game of 'Do You Give A Damn?' on a recent episode of 'Watch What Happens Live' which was hosted by Andy Cohen, leading netizens to label her as a "Wendy Williams wannabe".
What did Sherri Shepherd say about Britney Spears?
During the game, Cohen posed a question about Spears' highly anticipated memoir 'The Woman in Me', which is set to release on October 24, 2023. Actress Issa Rae was the first to respond, expressing her eagerness to read the book, stating the 'Toxic' singer has been "dropping a lot of tea" in excerpts that have already been released.
“She said that [her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake] cheated on her with another celebrity!” Rae said, prompting Shepherd to ask, “Another Mouseketeer?”
However, when Cohen asked whether Shepherd cared about Spears' tell-all, she responded with, "Not really, 'cause how many chapters are you gonna have — crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy and crazy." The response was met with disapproval from Issa Rae, but Shepherd stood by her statement, stating, "I said it."
