DES MOINES, WASHINGTON: Georgia Fualaau, aged 24, is the daughter of the late Mary Kay Letourneau and Vili Fualaau.
As reported by DailyMail.com, the younger of Vili's daughters, Georgia is currently anticipating the arrival of a baby boy in January. This means Vili Fualaau will be a grandfather by the time he reaches the age of 40.
The Samoan DJ has two adult children, Audrey, 26, and Georgia.
They are the result of his past marriage to Mary Kay Letourneau, who was a teacher convicted of inappropriate relations with the sixth-grade student and died from cancer in 2020.
Georgia flaunts baby bump in pics
The exciting news was shared by Georgia herself on her personal Instagram account last Saturday, September 1. One of her posts featured a touching caption, "New parents coming parents soon," accompanied by a photograph capturing a moment of affection between Georgia and her husband.
In another image, Georgia can be seen wearing a black tank top and underwear, cradling her baby bump.
She accompanied the photo with a heartfelt caption, stating, "22 weeks with my sweet boy. Wanted to do a halfway mark but this is close enough! Cried this morning talking to my son about how much love I feel for him already. I love you, my baby boy."
Audrey's heartfelt support for her sister
Audrey, the elder sister who now works as a flight attendant based in Honolulu, shared words of support and shared pictures from a gender reveal event held the previous month.
In one of the photos, Georgia receives a loving kiss on her baby bump from her soon-to-be-aunt, Audrey. Audrey's caption for the post read, "It's a BOY. Words cannot explain how excited I am for my little sister to have this baby boy. you're going to be such an amazing mom! I can't wait to help raise the little cutie pie."
Although Vili, their father, doesn't appear in the joyful posts, he is preoccupied these days with his nearly one-year-old daughter named Sophia.
Last November, the girls disclosed on their social media platforms that they had become big sisters due to the birth of Vili's youngest child.
In Georgia's message, she warmly greeted Sophia, saying, "Hi Sophia. I'm your big sister! You're so beautiful, I can't wait to watch you grow. I'll be right here by your side no matter what! I love you."
Vili became a father at age 14
Vili's journey has been marked by its share of challenges, being a father of three and soon-to-be a grandfather.
At the age of twelve, he started dating Mary Kay Letourneau, his sixth-grade teacher, who was 34 at the time. She had four children and was already married.
A family member of her husband Steve Letourneau soon revealed the unlawful relationship to authorities, sparking a national controversy.
Mary Kay was initially given a six-month prison term after pleading guilty to two counts of second-degree child rape. She died from stage four colon cancer at the age of 58 in July 2020.
She did not comply with the agreement's stipulation that she have no contact with the young adolescent. At the age of 14, Vili fathered Audrey in 1998. The birth of Georgia came 14 months later.
When Mary Kay broke the terms of her plea deal, she received a seven-year imprisonment. Vili's mother Soona took care of the Fualaau girls during this time.
Soon after Mary Kay's release from prison, they got married in 2005. They remained married until he requested a legal separation in 2017.
After a year, they allegedly started dating once more.
With Vili by her side, Mary Kay died barely five months after their divorce was finalized. She bequeathed her entire estate to him and their two daughters.
