SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: Vanessa Marcil paid a tribute to her ex-fiance and fellow soap actor Tyler Christopher who died at the age of 50.
Christopher, who was popular for his role as Nikolas Cassadine on the legendary medical soap opera 'General Hospital' from 1996 to 2016, died at his apartment in San Diego on Tuesday morning, November 1.

Sharing several throwback pictures of herself and Christopher, Marcil who also appeared on 'General Hospital' over the years took to her Instagram Stories to write, "Ugh, another loss! Waaaay too young," on one of the photos.
"Rest in peace bubs," the actress wrote on one snapshot while another picture read, "Rest in power."
In the late 1990s, the 55-year-old actress and the 'Days of Our Lives' star were dating and were also briefly engaged, according to the New York Post.
In 2002, Christopher married actress Eva Longoria while Marcil was dating Brian Austin Green. Two years later, he and Longoria announced their split.

Christopher's demise following a cardiac arrest was confirmed by his 'General Hospital' co-star Maurice Benard who gave the heartbreaking news on Tuesday, November 1, on Instagram.
"It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Tyler Christopher," wrote Benard.
"Tyler passed away this morning following a cardiac event in his San Diego apartment."
“Tyler was a truly talented individual that lit up the screen in every scene he performed and relished bringing joy to his loyal fans through his acting. Tyler was a sweet soul and wonderful friend to all of those who knew him," he added.
"Tyler was an advocate for better mental health and substance use treatment who openly spoke about his struggles with bipolar depression and alcohol," Bernard continued.
"We are beyond devastated by the loss of our dear friend and pray for his children and his father," Bernard continued.
In a statement issued following Christopher's death on Tuesday, November 1, his manager, Chi Muoi Lo also confirmed his demise.
"This news was incredibly shocking, and I am devastated by his loss. He was a very gifted actor, and more importantly, an amazing friend," he wrote.
"My heart goes out to his friends and family who loved him so much," Muoi Luo added.
In 2008, Christopher married former ESPN reporter Brienne Pedigo and the former pair reportedly divorced in 2021.
They share two children, Greysun James Christopher and Boheme Christopher.
