NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Dylan Dreyer has recently revealed a project she’s working on away from the NBC show.
Dreyer took to her Instagram on Saturday to share her upcoming project as she will be working with another NBC program during her break from ‘Today’.
Dreyer and husband Brian Fichera celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary back in 2022 and she gave birth to her third son in 2021.
She also remained absent from ‘Today’ because of her pregnancy. Dreyer often shares glimpses of her three sons on her social media.
Dylan Dreyer’s new project at NBC
The 42-year-old TV personality posted a close-up image on her Instagram account featuring a furry marmot in its natural habitat.
The caption for the post read, “On today’s episode of @nbcearthodyssey get ready to journey through some of Canada’s most rugged wilderness to see the life that this incredible environment holds!”
Dreyer shared the complete post directly from NBC's Earth Odyssey official Instagram account. She hosts Earth Odyssey, as well as the ‘Today’ show on the network.
In 2022, Dreyer celebrated a significant milestone in her role as the host of Earth Odyssey.
She commemorated this achievement by posting a heartwarming photo on Instagram, where she held a box of cupcakes adorned with the words "Happy 500!" in April.
She wrote, “More than 100 episodes in the can…that means I just wrapped my 500th @nbcearthodyssey segment!! I absolutely love working with this crew…like a well-oiled machine! Couldn’t have made it this far without you all!"
Dylan Dreyer’s major career moves
NBC News characterizes the award-winning show as a half-hour television program that transports viewers to some of the most remote and untamed regions around the world.
Dreyer's mission on the show is to emphasize the interconnection between the environment, wildlife, and the people in these exotic locations.
Dreyer received praise for a significant announcement in April when she unveiled the cover of her upcoming children's book, the third from the series titled ‘Misty the Cloud’.
She described the book as a story that teaches valuable lessons about sharing and compromise, while also offering insights into rainbows.
This book is a follow-up to her first release in 2021 titled 'Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day', which was followed by 'Misty the Cloud: Friends Through Rain and Shine' in September 2022. 'Misty the Cloud: Fun is in the Air' came out in May 2023.
