NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ meteorologist Al Roker often brings humor to NBC show with his entertaining and hilarious presence.
Recently, the weatherman was trolled for his ‘gross behavior’ by co-host Dylan Dreyer after he reportedly ate shrimp chips in a behind-the-scenes video.
While filming ‘Off The Rails’ podcast, Roker and Dreyer shared a short clip of their episodes on Instagram.
The ‘Today’ hosts run the Sirius XM podcast and often share glimpses of their scenes on their Instagram page. This came after Roker remained absent from the morning show on Monday, October 9.
Craig Melvin revealed Roker’s whereabouts admitting he’s out celebrating Columbus Day.
Al Roker’s ‘gross’ behavior
In a behind-the-scenes video from Sirius XM podcast, ‘Off The Rails’ hosted by Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer, a 69-year-old weather reporter was trolled by his co-host while eating hilariously.
On Wednesday, a clip was posted by ‘Today’ SXM featuring Roker indulging in a bag of shrimp chips whereas his headphones were partially hanging on one ear.
With a focused gaze, Roker munched on shrimp chips, savoring them one by one. The camera shifted to Dreyer, headphone-free, visibly cringing.
She exclaimed, "So gross," while shaking her head and closing her eyes.
As Roker ignored Dreyer and continued eating with a serious look on his face, he said to the camera, “Off The Rails Sirius XM, Channel 108. Download it now."
Despite Roker’s audible munching, Dreyer chuckled in the background. The Instagram post’s caption read, “You heard the man. Stream it now on the SXM app."
Al Roker’s angry mode
Earlier this week, Al Roker criticized his co-host Craig Melvin’s major on-air blunder as the latter couldn’t control his giggles during an episode.
During a Superfood segment, ‘Today’ hosts welcomed nutrition expert Joy Bauer who shared some healthy food swaps. However, Melvin couldn’t stop his antics and engaged in a banter with Roker.
Although Bauer didn’t seem bothered by Melvin’s tease, Roker clearly looked frustrated and slammed his co-host live during the segment after shouting, “You’re walking in front of the camera.”
Despite Melvin’s antics, Roker apologized to the guest, “Joy, thank you very much, and I really apologize.”
