NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ Carson Daly has recently opened up about his panic attacks while attending the Project Healthy Minds festival at the New York City Gala.
Daly talked at the gala to bring awareness about mental health and was supported by his ‘Today’ co-hosts including Craig Melvin, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, and his wife, Deborah Roberts.
The 50-year-old host beamed with a big smile as he posed alongside Melvin, Guthrie, and Roker at the inaugural gala of Project Healthy Minds.
Project Healthy Minds is an organization committed to raising awareness about the ongoing mental health crisis.

Carson Daly addressed the audience at Project Healthy Minds, emphasizing the organization's mission to raise awareness about the persistent mental health crisis.
He candidly opened up about his struggles with mental health over the years and the time when he had panic attacks. Daly also admitted to “anxiety as his superpower” while sharing his major career change.
The second annual festival was hosted in New York City's Hudson Yards and featured a lineup of notable speakers including Zak Williams, David Axelrod, Kalen Irsay Jackson, Poppy Harlow, Karen Palvin, and Sally Yates on the main stage.
The festival offered a diverse program, encompassing speeches, guided meditation sessions, SoulCycle activities, and a gala, all contributing to the vital conversation about mental health.
Daly’s recent career transition followed his absence from the ‘Today’ studio on a Tuesday episode.
During his absence, he briefly appeared via an off-site camera to provide coverage of the festival. This wasn't the first time the host had been missing from NBC's show in recent times, with several episodes where he was not present.
On one occasion, Dylan Dreyer filled in for Daly to cover his PopStart segment on a Monday episode.

Carson Daly reunited with his co-stars after missing another day at the morning show's news desk.
Al Roker took to his Instagram account to share pictures of the morning show team at the philanthropic event.
In his post, Roker expressed his pride stating, “So proud to join our @todayshow family supporting @carsondaly and his leadership in @projecthealthyminds for their inaugural gala.”
On Wednesday morning, Savannah Guthrie also shared a series of photos on her Instagram account, featuring herself, Carson, and their fellow co-workers from the ‘Today’ show.
In her caption, she expressed her admiration for her friend, “In awe of my friend @carsondaly - he delivered a powerful speech at the Project Healthy Minds gala that got a standing ovation. Incredible and so important. Proud!!"
Daly’s involvement in Project Healthy Minds takes on added significance as October 10 is World Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about mental health.
The event brought together Daly and Guthrie along with Roker and his wife Deborah Roberts, Melvin was also in attendance, as well as Guthrie’s husband, Michael Feldman.
Daly’s family was present as well, with his wife Siri Pinter, and their son, Jackson joining the cause.
