LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former president Donald Trump had a bond set at $200000 in connection to charges against him over the alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, as reported by CBS News.
According to the latest reports by USA Today, Trump was arrested Thursday evening at Georgia’s Fulton County Jail, exactly a day after the GOP debate, where he was absent.
‘The View’ co-host Ana Navarro has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to post a meme about Trump and the bond money attached to his fourth indictment in Georgia, merely hours before his official arrest.
The internet has responded negatively to Navarro's choice of meme against Trump, as they believe it proves the "two-tier" justice system. Some have also labeled the meme as "gross."
Ana Navarro mocks Donald Trump on X
‘The View’ co-host Ana Navarro didn’t write anything with the meme she posted, because the meme had the intended text.
The text on the meme posted by Navarro read, “Raise your hand if you won’t be requiring $200,000 for bond money this Thursday.”
In the meme, there were pictures of Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Vice President Kamala Harris, US Representative Nancy Pelosi, President Joe Biden, and Former President Barack Obama. Each of them in the picture had one hand raised.
The last picture belonged to Former President Donald Trump, who was the only one who didn’t have his hand raised, implying his need for the bond money.
Internet slams Ana Navarro for her choice of meme
People aren't too pleased by Ana Navarro as they pointed out what this represented.
One person wrote, "This picture is the perfect representation of the two-tier justice system in this country.." and another said, "Because the Justice system is rigged."
The internet has made corrections to Navarro's meme as one person wrote, "Raise your hand if you’re a dirty corrupt politician getting rich at the taxpayers expense!" and another said, "I've improved it using accurate information."
Supporters of Donald Trump have responded to Navarro's tweet as one person wrote, "Wait until 2025…" and another said, "This is so gross."
