OAKLAND, NORTH CAROLINA: Just when you'd think that things couldn't possibly go more wrong for 'Teen Mom' star Jenelle Evans, she somehow manages to raise the bar a notch higher.
After losing custody of her son Jace following multiple escape attempts from Jenelle and her husband David Eason's home, the reality TV star has taken to her Instagram to share her resilience in the face of adversities.
In a video posted from her official profile, she is seen lip-syncing to the song 'Happier Than Ever' by Billie Illish.
The song itself seems particularly significant as Jenelle scrolls through slide after slide of online hate she received in the wake of the CPS investigation into accusations of child neglect on her and her husband's part, hitting back at the online trolls who have slammed her for her "bad" parenting.
As the song reaches the poignant lines 'And I don't talk s**t about you on the internet', Jenelle makes her point in the video dedicated to her mother with #DearMom, that despite losing the custody case to Barbara, she is dignified enough to not spew hatred about her online.
'Teen Mom' star Jenelle Evans' husband David Eason celebrates sobriety
According to a recent status posted on Jenelle's Instagram, her husband David has been sober for about a week now. The couple paid a visit to a local bar where David had a non-alcoholic drink.
This comes after it was revealed that Jace had been physically assaulted and abused, with marks on his neck and arm, as per The Sun. The entire incident of assault was allegedly recorded by a neighbor's outdoor camera.
Child Protective Services has reportedly initiated an ongoing investigation against David and he has been subsequently barred from meeting Jace.
'Teen Mom' star Jenelle Evans and David Eason banned from visiting son Jace
After the courts awarded Jace's custody to Jenelle's mother Barbara Evans for a second time, both Jenelle and David have been prohibited from visiting their son until and unless he wishes to meet them out of his own free will and for no more than a fixed period, as per In Touch Weekly.
Jace, on his part, has made it clear that he has no intention of living with Jenelle and David and would once again run away from home if his custody were to be handed over to them.
'Teen Mom' star Jenelle Evans 'stressed' after losing son Jace's custody to mother Barbara
In another of Jenelle's recent Instagram statuses, she posted a photo of her favorite plateful of food with the caption, "Note to Self: Make sure you eat even if you're stressed."
Jenelle has tried her best to restore a semblance of normalcy to her already credible life following shocking reversals in the ongoing legal case over the custody of her son Jace.
On top of the CPS investigation, it was recently revealed that court papers submitted on behalf of Jenelle admitted that she had no idea where her son went the last time he went missing from home, despite her claims to the contrary, as per Daily Mail.
