NEWARK, NEW JERSEY: Melissa and Joe Gorga spent a fall weekend on the campus of their daughter Antonia's college. 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' star shared images from her parents' weekend at the University of Delaware in October 2023, and her husband Joe found himself in hot water again when a new video appeared in which he looks to be the light of the party.
Joe shared a video from the same party on October 17 in which he can be seen helping a fellow parent drink from a keg upside down with the help of another student. While the crowd cheered them on, Joe captioned the video, "I took the belt home!" #parentsweekend," tagging his daughter, @antoniagorgaa.
Users soon took to the comments to express their displeasure with the video. One asked, "Good role model for kids to drink?" Another user chimed in, "lol so fucking cringey. Little man syndrome. What parent goes to a frat party to begin with? Let alone get wasted at it? The desperation is disgusting 🤢."
One user also took a jab at him, saying, "Always hast to prove himself. Lil man syndrome." "How embarrassing," wrote another.
A user further commented, "Disgraceful really…." Another also pleaded, "Little Joey please stop it. You are a begging for attention."
One comment also read, "Wow what a role model parent you are for under age drinking 😞." Another wrote, "That’s cause you have the mentality of a frat boy!"
Joe Gorga won a belt as 'RHONJ' star 'took over' fraternity party at daughter's college
Melissa had already shared numerous images from the weekend on her Instagram page, including one of her husband wearing a crimson Delta Chi fraternity belt while posing with Antonia and a group of college kids. Antonia was clothed in a black tank top and pants, but her parents were dressed to the nines. Not only was her father carrying a frat belt, but there was also a photo of Melissa dressed in UDel attire standing among the crowd.
Antonia uploaded a video of her father wearing the belt while hanging out by a keg with some of the college kids on her Instagram story.
"Joe winning some sort of belt at a frat party✅ Time with @antoniagorgaa ✅ Candy corn martini✅ 🎃 #udel #parentsweekend," Melissa captioned her image.
Where does 'RHONJ's Antonia Gorga go to college?
Melissa uploaded images from her parents' weekend at the University of Delaware in October 2023, and her husband Joe looked to be the star of the party.
Melissa revealed on Instagram in May that Antonia, 18, would attend the University of Delaware beginning in the fall of 2023, after limiting her choices to numerous colleges.
Parents & Family Weekend took place Friday, October 6–Sunday, October 8, 2023, according to the UDel website, and included a number of events such as the Delaware Football vs. Duquesne game and a pre-game tailgate.
'RHONJ's Joe Gorga is on a comedy tour
Joe learned how to construct an empire from the ground up while growing up in the inner city of Paterson, New Jersey. He is now a real estate entrepreneur, real husband of New Jersey, and author. Joe teaches how to thrive in business, relationships, and life by following timeless, old-school rules like living with passion, keeping humble, and never giving up in The Gorga Guide to Success.
Joe realized early on that you "gotta have balls" to succeed. From his first job delivering papers to his first business ventures, he learned from his immigrant Italian parents how to work hard, negotiate the best deals, and always have "two feet in one boot," which has helped him achieve real estate success.
Joe, as one of the stars of 'RHONJ,' now applies those same concepts to his family, marriage, and unexpected celebrity. Joe is now putting those balls and life lessons to use as he takes on his most difficult endeavor yet: the world of comedy.
If you think Joe is entertaining on 'RHONJ,' wait till you see him perform live on stage. Joe has no idea how to fail, and the world of comedy must brace itself for this force of nature.
On August 28, the father of three announced on Instagram that he would shortly be performing in another comedy event in October. For the show this time, he reconnected with comic Mike Marino, with whom he had debuted in a stand-up act.
Joe most recently gave a performance at the Catch a Rising Star comedy club in Princeton, New Jersey on October 14. The cost of the tickets varied from $99 to $150. Joe's official website will include details about his upcoming shows.
