'I thought I was going to get shot'

"I thought I was going to get shot," said the neighbor who called Wilson's daughter when he saw the police pointing their guns at the building. "I ask, ‘What’s going on in your house?! He says, 'Shhhhhh, I call you back.' They’d locked themselves in the bedroom with the baby," the witness said. The 29-year-old daughter and her boyfriend later revealed to the neighbor about the alleged shooter threatening to murder them all.
Following the incident, emergency medical responders transported Wilson from her home to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. A 62-year-old man named Linford Mckinzie who lived across the street said that the alleged gunman was from Jamaica and the victim was from St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Another neighbor, Earl, 47, who only gave revealed his first name stated that as he was coming back from McDonald's early Sunday morning, he heard Wilson and Hibbert arguing. "I hear a woman shouting, screaming loud at someone. I didn’t pay attention. I heard it before. This neighborhood can be rowdy. Then I heard the helicopter. I came out and see all the neighbors. … It’s crazy!", said Earl.
