GREENCASTLE, INDIANA: Natalia Grace was reportedly spotted enjoying her time with her new father, pastor Antwon Mans, after being reportedly abandoned by her former adopted family. The Ukrainian-born’s ex-adoptive family, the Barnetts, had alleged that she was an "adult sociopath" pretending to be a six-year-old. They also accused her of being violent and emotionally and physically abusive toward them.
Grace was at the center of a new documentary, titled ‘The Curious Case of Natalia Grace’ that aired on Investigation Discovery in relation to the abuse claims. It seems she has put her past behind her as she reportedly now lives happily with her new family, the Mans. Just a few days ago, a post on Instagram showed her selling fireworks inside a tent.
‘Natalia keep smiling gorgeous’
The first photo was a selfie while others were of the explosive items with a caption that read, “At our Fireworks Tent.” The social media post garnered a lot of likes and comments. A user wrote, “Good luck I hope you sale lots of fireworks!! Sending lots of love !!! Natalia keep smiling gorgeous you brighten up the world with you sprite and joy !! God bless you family!” A second one said, “Love seeing Natalia! She is such a sweet young lady who has been through hell! Glad to see she has a family that loves her! Makes my heart melt, I’ve always wondered what happened to her and worried for her. Thoughts and prayers to the family y’all are the real mvps.” “Y'all are seriously the family of [heart emoji]. I applaud you for all you did and do. Mom & Dad of the century. Natalia, you are with good people now, and the world knows how evil the Barnett family is,” a third commenter added.
‘I want to know who I am’
Meanwhile, it has been said that Grace, who suffers from a type of dwarfism called spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita, will also get the chance to present her story directly through an upcoming documentary titled ‘The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks’. The trailer of it has already been released, showing her speaking about her former family, who adopted her from Ukraine in 2010, “It's very frustrating to hear everything that's being said from Kristine and Michael because I already don't know who I am, and I want to know who I am, what happened to me. But I'm hearing all this stuff that never actually happened from Kristine and Michael.”
However, Grace is apparently happy with the Mans, who adore her. On a GoFundMe, her adoptive mother Cynthia Mans said, “We are The Mans and Natalia Grace is our daughter. We believe God put her in our life and she is an amazing daughter and a loving sister. We come from a humble household and don’t like to ask for more than we need. It was suggested by many people that we create a Gofundme and Amazon wishlist so people could help our family and show Natalia love.”
“The only two things our family could think of that we would like and couldn’t afford would be a new wheelchair-accessible Van and a family Trip to Jerusalem. Natalia has always wanted to visit the Holy Land! Being that our family is Apostolic Pentecostal, this is something that is more important to us than a trip to Disneyland or Hawaii,” she continued before adding, “Lastly, we want to thank each and every one of you who has donated, shared or even sent us kind words of encouragement. We feel so blessed to know how many people love Natalia Grace as much as we do.”
