MONTAUK, NEW YORK: Melissa Gorga spends the Fourth of July at the beach, despite rumors that she is "on the chopping block" from 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'. Her time on the reality program may be coming to an end shortly, according to The US Sun.
According to an insider, no contracts have been signed since higher-ups are still making choices. According to the source, the only contracts they have signed are their BravoCon contracts, which secure their seats at the yearly event. Melissa, Teresa Giudice, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda were among the Season 13 cast members. Jennifer Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider were regulars on the program; however, they were cast as friends. Jennifer F is safe because everyone adores her, but Jackie is evidently done and won't be asked back. There's a reason why the cast has remained silent about any 'RHONJ' casting or filming news up until now. This might explain why Andy Cohen is the only one who addresses rumors.
'I would be nervous if I were her'
Teresa, Melissa's sister-in-law and adversary, will not be departing, according to a source close to production, but the Envy boutique owner very well may.
Melissa and Teresa insulted one another at the three-part season reunion last month, resulting in Bravo's nastiest feud in history. According to fans, at least one of the stars must go for the program to continue. However, "higher-ups are saying if there's no Teresa, there is no show," a source told The Sun. "If anyone's going to be out, it's Melissa. She could potentially be on the chopping block. From what's being discussed, I would be nervous if I were her."

According to the insider, everyone on the cast understands that it's "Teresa's show," and there's "no 'RHONJ' without her."
Andy kept silent on the 'Two Ts In A Pod' podcast in May when asked if Melissa or Teresa would be dismissed. "Well, we're figuring that out right now," he said, "but I plead the fifth."
Around the same time, Melissa revealed to The US Sun that she had no clue what her future in the program would be. "I do not know what Bravo's going to decide," Melissa said in April. She then replied to the firing rumors on social media. "I’m not going anywhere... I like my job," she stated.
'Such a show boat'
Melissa opted to spend the Fourth of July at the beach in Montauk, despite the termination rumors. In the captions she wrote, "Much needed little break by the ocean ?." She could be seen donning a black bikini with a white shirt to save herself from the heat. But nothing could have prepared her for the wrath that awaited her in the comments section. Amidst the terminal rumors, users reacted to her post asking, "Cooling down that ego of yours?" While another commente, "So full of herself." One user noted, "It must be exhausting being so thirsty." Throwing a dig at her "little break" caption, one quipped, "A break from tree stump.????."
Seeing Melissa make it all the way up to New York, another user threw shade at the Bravo star saying, "All the way up there and no invite to Michael Rubins white party ??? Fake celeb life you live." Further calling out the 'RHONJ' star, one commented, "what friends house are you staying at? Because we all know you can't afford to be in the Hamptons unless you're staying at somebody's house ???? such a show boat! even when you have a tan you have to make sure you let everyone know that you "got a little bit too much color in the "Hamptons" melissa pay everyone back that you and your Napoleon complex husband owe money then post your bs bc no one cares!!!!!!! your old news especially with the new couple that will be on next season michele, and her husband from Franklin Lakes ?."
