LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Will Smith’s former assistant Brother Bilaal recently claimed on a podcast that he had once walked in on the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' actor, 55, having sex with fellow actor Duane Martin, 58, in a dressing room years ago.
When TMZ approached Jada Pinkett Smith for comment on the allegation against her husband, she had a very brief response, "We suin’!”
Bilaal had brought forth the allegation when he appeared on the ‘Unwine With Tasha K’ podcast in November. A representative for Smith reportedly told TMZ that the “story is completely fabricated and the claim is unequivocally false.”
Though it is not clear how serious Jada was about calling her lawyers, a source revealed to TMZ that Will was “actually weighing his legal options, so there could be some truth to Jada’s response.” Both husband and wife are strongly denying the allegations.
Martin, the other actor allegedly involved, has not yet addressed the claims. He was married to actress Tisha Campbell from 1996 to 2020.
There is no romance between Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith
Since their marriage in 1997, Jada and Will had secretly separated for some years, before apparently reconciling. Jada responded to various rumors surrounding their relationship while promoting her memoir 'Worthy'.
When 'Today' host Hoda Kotb asked whether they’re in an open marriage, swingers or one of them is gay, Jada replied, "I would say that none of that’s true.”
During the promotional tour for the book, Jada further made the bombshell revelation that she and the 'Emancipation' actor have had “completely separate lives” since 2016.
In response to why the couple had kept their separation a secret, Jada said, "I think just not being ready yet. Still trying to figure out between the two of us how to be in partnership, right? And in regards to, how do we present that to people? And we hadn’t figured that out,” adding that while the two are still legally married, there is no romance between them.
"By the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying. I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be," she said.
"I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever,” she continued. “And I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”
