NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: KSI, a YouTuber turned boxer, and MMA fighter Dillon Danis have a stormy history. KSI recently revealed his plans to retaliate against Danis at an upcoming press conference.
From being hit by Danis at a MisFits weigh-in to backing out of a scheduled boxing match against KSI at the last minute, the two have had a lot of problems in the past.
KSI is set to face Tommy Fury in October while Danis will face Logan Paul on the same card.
KSI says he will slap Dillon Danis
With the event's press conference slated for August 22 at the OVO Arena in Wembley, KSI is eager to finally exact his revenge on Danis.
During a recent physical therapy session with specialist Harvey Ubhi, KSI stated that if Danis came close him during the conference, he would slap him.
KSI reportedly said, "If I see him, I'm slapping him because I have to get my get back. [But for that] he has to come to the press conference, and if he does, and I'm right next to him, I'm slapping him straight up."
KSI added, "He is a man that talks a lot of talk and never walks anywhere."
Since first donning the gloves in 2019, KSI has compiled a boxing record of 5-0-1 with one no-contest (including professional and exhibition bouts).
KSI calls Dillon Danis 'scum of the Earth'
Danis was supposed to face KSI at the MF & DAZN X Series 4 earlier in August. However, Danis withdrew from the bout at the last minute, leaving KSI without an opponent with the fight card only 10 days away.
Fortunately, KSI persuaded fellow YouTuber Thomas Oliveira to jump in quickly to save the card. During an interview prior to his battle with Oliveira, KSI slammed Danis for his behavior.
KSI said, "[For] Danis, there was literally no excuse [for him pulling out]. His excuse was, I don't fancy it anymore... He did literally all the press, all the clout, did everything."
KSI continued, "Said he's going to destroy me, beat me up, dashed coffee in my face, pissed me off... and then just peaced out and said naa, I just don't want to fight you, I'm sacred. It's just disappointing, disgraceful."
"Bro, he is the scum of the Earth man... He should never enter any combat sports ever again," KSI concluded.
