AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan does it again. The UFC commentator recently stirred up another controversy by remarking on UFC 295's early stoppage.

Alex Pereira won the UFC Light Heavyweight title against Jiri Prochazka in UFC 295, becoming the ninth two-division champion in UFC history. However, referee Mark Goddard's decision sparked a debate.

Alex 'Poatan' Pereira squared up against Prochazka in the main event of UFC 295 in New York for the vacant Light Heavyweight title. Given the high caliber and respect both boxers enjoy, the bout was sure to be an exciting one.

In the opening five minutes, neither fighter took significant harm. Seeking more leg kicks, Pereira began the second round. Prochazka, though, mounted a fierce defense and appeared to be winning.

However, Pereira used his right hand to upset Prochazka before dropping him to the canvas with a left hook. The Brazilian continued with a barrage of punches and head elbows, after which the referee halted the contest.

“It felt a little fast, I’m not going to lie to you because Jiri got up pretty quick,” martial artist Daniel Cormier said. To this Rogan replied, “I’m not satisfied with that stoppage.”

Internet criticizes Joe Rogan's statement

Fans, however, ridiculed the pundits for their opinions. One user wrote, "It is hilarious how Rogan and DC were whining about early stoppage and Jiri said nope I was out…. Rogan never cease to show he is biased as I nut hugger #UFC295."

Another user wrote, "@joerogan @Jon_Anik @dc_mma should all feel ashamed of themselves for making the narrative of the fight being an early stoppage. Maybe it was, but that isn’t your call to make, you aren’t referee’s. Very disrespectful to the men in the cage. Shame on you. Congrats @AlexPereiraUFC."

The third person remarked, "Prochazka was classy in defeat, and completely shut down that early stoppage narrative that Joe Rogan kept pushing hard."
