LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Lynn Spears has walked out of 'I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!' due to "medical grounds", according to a show spokesperson.
The former child star, who is the sister of pop icon Britney Spears, has been struggling with the harsh conditions of the jungle and the separation from her family.
Jamie Lynn Spears's emotional breakdown over chocolate
She was seen breaking down in tears on Tuesday’s episode after having a small piece of chocolate which she said "p*****d me off" because it reminded her of what she was missing, Daily Mail reported.
The chocolate bar was a reward for the campmates after Marvin, Sam and Tony’s success at 'The Misery Hotel' trial.
Sam, as the team leader, decided to share the chocolate with everyone to boost their morale after a rainy day. However, the chocolate was so small that everyone only got a tiny piece each.
Jamie Lynn took herself away from the camp to cry and was later comforted by her fellow campmates, especially former boxer Tony Bellew, who said in Bush Telegraph that she was "getting frustrated’ and "misses her kids." Jamie Lynn said, "I just want more chocolate."
Jamie Lynn Spears exit from the show
Jamie Lynn’s exit from the show will be shown on Wednesday night’s episode, and the rest of the celebrities have been informed of her departure as per reports.
A show spokesperson said, "Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds.
"She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities," the spokesperson added.
She is the second star to quit the show this week, following food critic Grace Dent, who left on Monday, November 27, after "losing all her energy" and facing another Bushtucker Trial.
Grace said in her exit interview, "I just felt like I had no energy left. I felt like I was going to faint. I just couldn’t face another trial."
