ASPEN, COLORADO: Kyle Richards made an appearance on Andy Cohen’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’ on Wednesday, October 25, and answered many questions, including her recent divorce.
The 'RHOBH' star admitted that she came up with the idea of separation. "It originated from me, I’ll say."
Richards was joined by her friend Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave.
Kyle Richards suspected 'something might be cooking'
Kyle also talked about a picture of her ex-husband Mauricio Umansky holding hands with his 'Dancing with the Stars' partner Emma Slater.
"I love him very much and we are amicable but that really did hurt me," she said, adding "Yeah that was, I mean, yes, that hurt my feelings."
Cohen asked if she thinks that something may be going on between them, she responded, "I mean, holding hands like that? I mean, Andy… I really don’t — why are you doing this to me. I just don’t think you hold hands like that."
"The things is this: I don’t know if anything’s happened yet but obviously there’s something there," she weighed.
But that didn’t stop her from supporting her ex-partner. "I also voted for them. Yeah, I did," said Kyle, adding "I even sent the proof to the family chat. I did my votes and I sent the screenshot to the chat."
The former couple who have two daughters Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15, shared the challenge they went through after news of their separation, reports People.
"Our phones were blowing up, our kids were crying and wouldn’t leave the house. It was really, really difficult," Kyle recalled.
"But now they’re much better and they’re really strong. They’re just so together and so smart and they’ve been my best, best, best friends. I could not be more proud of them. They’re just amazing human beings. Thank God I have them through this," she continued.
Kyle Richards prefers Dorit Kemley's blonde look
Cohen, during the show, asked the ladies to comment on Dorit Kemley’s hair transformation.
“Dorit’s new brunette locks — hot or not? What do you think, Teddi,” Cohen started.
“I think she can pull anything off but I miss the blonde,” Mellencamp replied.
“I agree,” Richards jumped in, adding “I liked it on her but I kept thinking, ‘Who is that over there?’ So, I prefer the blonde.”
However, the audience felt differently. “The audience loves it,” Cohen said, pointing at the 82% of votes that branded Kemsley’s brunette locks as “hot.”
