SMARKAND, UZBEKISTAN: Kevin Spacey, the Oscar-winning actor is fine after a health scare in Uzbekistan where he was attending a film festival.
The actor felt his left arm go numb while visiting a museum and was taken to a clinic for tests. He later appeared on stage and said his health was normal.

The 64-year-old 'American Beauty' star underwent an MRI scan at the Innova Diagnostic Clinic in in the ancient Silk Road city of Samarkand, after feeling his “entire left arm go numb for about eight seconds."
The 'House of Cards' star had the condition while touring the Afrasiyab Museum. He was accompanied by the people he was with at the 15th Tashkent International Film Festival, the Sun reports.
Doctors feared in the ancient Silk Road city that 'Unusual Suspect' actor could have suffered a heart attack, but they gave him all-clear after a series of tests, the outlet mentioned.
“Mr Spacey was taken to a medical centre over health concerns. He was treated professionally by doctors and staff and found to have no problem with his heart," a source close to the actor told the publication.

Spacey did not let the incident stop him from attending the festival’s closing ceremony on Monday, October 2, where he gave a speech and said he experienced something unexpected.
He told the crowd, “It made me really take a moment and think about how fragile life is - for all of us.”
He explained, "I was looking at these extraordinary murals on the walls and I suddenly felt my entire left arm go numb."
Spacey said he told about this to people he was accompanied by and they took him to the medical centre.
"I spent the afternoon there having a variety of tests. Staff took care of me, and even put me through an MRI," he said, adding "Everything turned out to be completely normal, and I'm grateful it's not anything more serious."

He also announced his “comeback” at an event in the capital Tashkent a day before on Sunday, October 1, saying his “best roles were ahead of him," according to the report.
He had earlier this year been cleared of a series of charges of sexual assault in the UK and the US, which had damaged his career and reputation.
He lost major roles and was axed from Netflix’s 'House of Cards.' "I lost everything in a matter of days," he said outside the court in July.
However, Spacey has maintained charges against him were just for money. He was also stripped of an International Emmy Award and was edited out of Sir Ridley Scott's film 'All The Money In The World.'
