DETROIT, MICHIGAN: Hailie Jade, daughter of rapper Eminem, has sparked concern online after canceling her podcast episode again for health reasons.
In Hailie’s podcast aptly titled ‘Just A Little Shady’ she gives a not-so-subtle nod to her father in the title as she presents herself as a chip of the old block. The podcast first came out on July 15th, last year, in 2022.
With over 139K subscribers on the podcast’s YouTube channel, it is safe to say that within a year Hailie had been successful in creating a committed audience base who’re eagerly waiting for the next episode to come out.
In a dedicated Instagram page for the podcast, Hailie posted a Halloween-themed design art with the caption: “BOO!! We have some SPOOKY NEWS: There will be no new episode this week! We’ll be back next week with a killer surprise”
The aforementioned post was followed by a video where the star showed off her lavish podcast studio, decorated for Halloween to her fans. The caption read: “This week’s episode will be coming out a few days late.. on the plus side, that means there will be TWO episodes out in one week next week!”
She explained her absence by saying, “We feel so bad for the two week in a row delay, but I have absolutely no voice right now so I physically can’t record- or else we would totally be pushing through and making it happen.“
Eminem’s eldest of three daughters continued: “With that being said... we still plan on having a special guest surprise in the next episode & getting some fun bonus content with them!”
“If you’re part of the Patreon fam drop any games you would want us to do with our special guest in the bonus content in the comments on this post!” she concluded with her name and a heart emoticon under the caption.
Fans of Hailie and her podcast left kind words for her in the comments, sending her well wishes.
One follower commented: "Hope you are feeling better soon!!! you health is prioritized!"
"I'll forgive you if you tell me where you got that ghost pillow!" another follower wrote.
Another fan reacted to the news with: "Hope you feel better soon."
"Oh that's so tough losing your voice! Get well soon! Also can't help but think how funny a show would be with you and Brit but you type your responses into the app that speaks it out loud for you," another supporter suggested jokingly.
Like father, like daughter
Hailie isn't as public as her world-renowned rapper dad but is far more cordial with fans compared to her sisters, Alaina Mathers and Stevie Lane Mathers.
Back in March, she shared a glam selfie posing in a cow-print corset top and captioned the Instagram upload with three sunflower emojis.
Hailie's followers rushed to leave compliments, with one commenting: "You're a natural beauty."
Another follower wrote: "You're so pretty and the outfit is so good."
But many pointed out how much she looks like her rapper father Eminem.
Someone commented: "She looks just like her dad."
And another agreed to the uncanny resemblance saying: "You look close to your father."
Supporting dad Eminem
We've heard a lot about Eminem’s eldest daughter Hailie's upbringing in songs like 'Mockingbird' and 'Hailie's Song'. And it seems in real life, the father-daughter duo do share a strong bond.
In February of last year, she shared photos of herself at the Super Bowl LVI to attend the halftime show where his father was due to perform.
She shared photos and videos on her Instagram from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where she posted a picture of herself sporting a pair of ripped jeans and a black leather jacket, complimented with white sneakers.
During the halftime show, Hailie posted a video of her father's performance which included guest performances by Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg.
Eminem performed his world-famous hit single ‘Lose Yourself’, as well as other popular new and old songs.
Fans in attendance were in awe of the show, and the same goes for the viewers at home who went to social media, with one asking: "Great halftime show… or GREATEST halftime show?"
"Might be one of the greatest halftime shows of all time," another person commented.
One user put it succinctly: "Thank you for making the greatest halftime show ever!" while another voiced the same opinion: "This the greatest Super Bowl Halftime show I ever witnessed."
"New rule: Hip Hop should be performed at EVERY halftime show going forward. Hands down greatest halftime EVER!" another fan added.
