SEOUL, KOREA: In an unexpected but lovely throwback, BTS's vocalist V or Taehyung revisited his wholesome interaction with Lady Gaga. The two singers shared a sweet moment at last year's 64th Grammy Awards ceremony. V had previously shared photos from the interaction and recently shared a collage on his Instagram stories, tagging Lady Gaga on it as well.
This happened just a few days after the K-Pop artist shared a stunning medley of jazz renditions of songs by Michael Bublé and Fred Astaire. V is known for being a fan of the genre and impressed many fans with his 'Festa Gift', a celebration related to the debut anniversary of BTS.
Is V hinting at a collaboration?
At this point, anything related to what V shared on his Instagram story is just speculation. His throwback was quite out of the blue although an adorable reminder of the viral interaction between him and the pop-queen Lady Gaga.
A collaboration could be in the works and this could be V's way of hinting at it. It is no secret that not just V but all of BTS are big fans of Lady Gaga and her music. V also shares a common love for jazz with the 'Bad Romance' singer. It is safe to say that if they were to collab, it will be quite a treat for fans of both singers.
V's love for Jazz
BTS's V is probably one of the biggest fans of jazz among most celebrities out there. He regularly posts videos of his favorite jazz numbers on his Instagram account and has previously attempted to learn how to play the violin, trumpet, and saxophone, all of the instruments known to be central to the genre.
As part of BTS's debut anniversary celebration called 'Festa', V gifted their fans Army his cover of two songs performed in the typical jazz setting. He kicked off the cover with Michael Bublé's classic 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas' and followed it with the timeless Fred Astaire's 'Cheek to Cheek'. The second song was performed as a duo with Minna Seo. The throwback does meet the timing of this cover's release as Lady Gaga previously covered this song with Tony Bennett.
