OKLAHOMA, UNITED STATES: According to exclusive information obtained by Radar Online, friends of Blake Shelton have expressed concerns about his prolonged outdoor activities on his Oklahoma ranch with wife Gwen Stefani. The country singer finds solace in escaping the busyness of Hollywood at his 1,300-acre Ten Point Ranch, complete with ponds, a horse barn, and a four-bedroom home.
However, sources reveal that Shelton's constant exposure to the sun while farming his land on a tractor has raised worries about potential future health problems, as his baseball cap may not provide adequate protection. "Blake's got a blotchy face and red neck, and these horrible brown spots are popping up," an insider close to the singer expressed.
"He doesn't seem worried, but he should be. He wears a cap, but even if he's wearing sunscreen it's not enough. Those rays can be very dangerous — especially if he's out there hours at a time in the baking heat."
Tied the knot? 'Well, what do we do now?’
During a recent selfie of Blake Shelton, Florida-based Dr Gabe Mirkin observed what he believes could be actinic keratoses on the upper right cheek, which may indicate a precancerous condition. Although Mirkin has not personally treated Shelton, he explained that these lesions are typically treated by a dermatologist using liquid nitrogen spray to remove the superficial layer where the pre-cancerous cells develop.
If left untreated, they can potentially progress into full-blown skin cancer. Shelton, who is married to Gwen Stefani, has been traveling between California and his expansive Tishomingo ranch in Oklahoma. The couple live there with her three sons from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale. Shelton shared in a Country Radio Seminar 2022 interview that they were unsure about their next steps after tying the knot. “The two of them were like, 'Well, what do we do now?”
Opening up to many experiences
During his appearance at the CRS 2022, Blake Shelton sat down with host Lon Helton for an hour-long interview. Shelton expressed his eagerness to enter a new phase of his career, stating, "What I've been looking forward to doing for the last four or five years... is eyeing that timeline, that part of my career, where I just need to start stripping some things away". He emphasized the importance of bringing more life into his career and personal life, mentioning his marriage to Gwen Stefani and becoming part of her family. Shelton acknowledged that being married and having stepsons has opened his eyes to new priorities and experiences.
Blake Shelton humorously recounted an anecdote about encouraging others to embrace outdoor activities, saying, "I go, 'Go out that door and don't come back till you're too tired to go any further.' Well, they can't even imagine just going down to the creek with a net or turning over rocks or getting on a buggy and driving around." With a playful tone, he added, "When it comes to burning things, starting fires, and throwing hatchets, you better get out of the way!"
