LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It’s not like people haven’t seen 'Vanderpump Rules' star Tom Schwartz make sudden, slightly bizarre decisions before.
However, his new blond hair transformation surely took the Internet by surprise, as some believed it to have been inspired by Ryan Gosling's Ken from the 'Barbie' movie.
'Vanderpump Rules' star Tom Schwartz stuns the Internet with a hair makeover
Schwartz, known for his laid-back personality on the reality TV show 'Vanderpump Rules', recently stunned the fans with a dramatic makeover as he prepares to open a new restaurant with his wife Katie Maloney. The couple announced earlier this year that they would be opening a new establishment in Las Vegas called TomTom Vegas.
'The Vanderpump Rules' star's new hair transformation was first revealed in a fan photo shared on August 13, where Schwartz can be seen sporting bleached blond hair. "Blondes have more fun," read the fan's caption for the post.
Schwartz's blond hair perfectly matched his all-black outfit as he held a beer cup in one hand, with the other arm wrapped around the shoulders of the fan.
Later, the star took to his Instagram to post a picture of his blond locks, with the caption, "New season ?New flavored drink mixes. New hair. Blond ambition mission," signifying that he's all about embracing the blond energy.
Internet dubs 'Vanderpump Rules' star Tom Schwartz's new look 'cringe'
Through the pictures, it's obvious that Schwartz looks completely different with the new blond hair, as for the past 10 years 'Vanderpump Rules' fans have only seen him as a brunette. So, the Internet was quite divided in its reaction to the drastic makeover.
One user took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Must’ve really liked the Barbie Movie and wants to be "Ken"."
On the other hand, a person took to Schwartz's Instagram post and commented, "Some are taking this Barbie movie a little too seriously," while another said, "Cringe in multiple ways."
A user simply called his new hair look, "troubling."
