NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Recently, a letter bearing the signatures of over 2,000 actors, artists, and musicians, which includes notable figures such as Tilda Swinton, Steve Coogan, and ‘Outlander’ star Sam Heughan, has faced criticism for its condemnation of Israel as the letter reportedly does not acknowledge the actions of Hamas that contributed to the outbreak of conflict.

In the open letter from artists for Palestine UK asserted that Israeli airstrikes and the government's decision to cease the supply of food, water, and fuel to the region were characterized as "war crimes."

Following this event, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to update more on this news as he slammed the people involved in singing the pro-Palestinian letter.

The internet also backed Hannity as several blasted the actors, musicians, and others involved in signing the letter, calling them a “bunch of D listers”.

Sean Hannity slams actors and other artists for signing pro-Palestine letter

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “No mention of Hamas or the horrific attack on Israel...”

Hannity’s tweet included an article from his official website titled, “BAD ACTORS: 2,000 Actors and Musicians Sign Pro-Palestinian Letter, Accuse Israel of 'War Crimes'”

In the article, it was stated that more than 2,000 actors and musicians have signed a letter condemning Israel for “war crimes” without any mention of Hamas terrorists.

The letter said, “Our governments are not only tolerating war crimes but aiding and abetting them,” duly signed by ‘Game of Thrones’ star Charles Dance and ‘Harry Potter’ actress for Professor Sprout, Miriam Margolyes.

“There will come a time when they are held to account for their complicity,” the letter continued.

It further said, “But for now, while condemning every act of violence against civilians and every infringement of international law whoever perpetrates them, our obligation is to do all we can to bring an end to the unprecedented cruelty being inflicted on Gaza.”

“We support the global movement against the destruction of Gaza and the mass displacement of the Palestinian people. We demand that our governments end their military and political support for Israel’s actions. We call for an immediate ceasefire and the opening of Gaza’s crossings to allow humanitarian aid to enter unhindered,” the letter concluded.

However, the letter does not address the terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas, which resulted in the deaths of 1,400 Israeli citizens and influenced Israel's current stance in the region.

Internet calls out artists and artists for signing pro-Palestinian letter

After Sean Hannity reported on the actors and musicians signing a pro-Palestinian letter, several people took a brutal jibe at the signees and backed the Fox News anchor’s blast.

One person wrote, “That’s why they’re called “actors” because they’re not real,” and another called out the actors saying, “Hollywood: The organization of pedophiles and anti-Semites.”

A person simply slammed adding, “Hopefully, the Jewish people who run Hollywood and the Music industry will take notes and remember before hiring them in the future.”

One more wrote, “Let's boycott their movies and concerts,” while another said, “A bunch of D listers.”

“They're all worthless and only do as told by the regime media,” said a fan.
