NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Sam Champion has resurfaced online with some photos of a breathtaking vacation with husband Rubem Robierb.
The 62-year-old shared a few snaps of himself and Robierb, out on a beach in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The duo can be seen shirtless in their pictures as they pose for quick selfies.
This post comes after Champion’s short break from Instagram after his phone was stolen in Rio.
Many concerned fans who questioned the ‘GMA’ star for his absence from posting any updates on social media, finally received their answer.
GMA’s Sam Champion shares photos of beach vacay with husband
The renowned meteorologist shared a carousel post on Instagram which included a few selfies on Rio’s beach.
In the snaps, Champion and Robierb can be seen shirtless, donning a pair of orange shorts and a cap that reads Micareta.
Champion flaunts his abs in one of the pics while he leans in to get into the frame for a second selfie.
The duo also shared a snap with some locals on the beach with Champion revealing his reason for being in Rio at this hour.
The ‘GMA’ star is attending his first Micareta, an off-season celebration similar to Brazilian Carnival.
They are similar to the Bahian Carnival and very different from the samba school parades that are popular in Rio de Janeiro.
Champion spoke about it in the caption of his post and also revealed that he has a lot of photos but unfortunately couldn’t post them due to his phone being stolen.
He wrote, “My first @micaretarj_oficial week in Rio! It’s explained to me “like an off-season Carnival”. I did have pics and videos ..and it was fun… but I can’t show you cause my phone was one of hundreds stolen from my pocket #Rio #iykyk! at @micaretarj_oficial @ipanema always feeling safe and happy @barracadadenise63oficial”

One wrote, “Oh wow! No wonder I didn’t see any posts from you. So sorry my phone was stolen. But I’m glad you and the hubby having fun!”
