LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Halloween this year, TikTok star Dixie D'Amelio, elder sister of Charli D' Amelio, dressed up as queen of hearts. She wore a crown made of cards and a matching corset, complemented by a red sequin mini skirt. Recently, she addressed speculations about undergoing plastic surgery, which arose after eagle-eyed fans noticed she looked slightly different in her costume.
As social media icons, both Dixie and Charli regularly post photos and videos of themselves. When Dixie revealed her Halloween costume last month, fans speculated that she might have had a breast augmentation. However, Dixie quickly dismissed these rumors.
What did Dixie D'Amelio say?
Dixie's outfit was noticed by many fans who were quick to call out Dixie’s assets. Additionally, many of them were convinced that she’d actually gotten a b**b job, with one writing on TikTok, “Where did those come from??”
The TikTok star responded to the speculation in a post on November 11, saying that she was actually just on her period.
She said, “The truth is, I was on my period, and that’s what happens,” adding, "It’s true although it doesn’t happen for everyone, menstruation can cause breasts to swell." In fact, Dixie says that she didn’t find the speculation embarrassing and instead thought the whole situation was “so funny.”
Earlier, she said, in D'Amelio Show, talking about her first siezure, "I was driving to go film and I feel my chest getting really heavy. I just felt like there was something wrong with my body. I thought I was shutting down."
The TikTok star went on to explain that in high school, she had received a diagnosis of Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizures (PNES), which are described as "a physical symptom of anxiety" by the Epilepsy Foundation.
When Dixie got candid about her Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder
In October 2022, D’Amelio revealed during an Instagram Live that she had been diagnosed with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder.
She said, "I wasn’t feeling great and not really sure why. I recently got diagnosed with this thing called PMDD, which is premenstrual dysphoric disorder." She added, “It really affects your moods and your behavior and many different parts of your life.”
D’Amelio continued to open up about her 'extreme' PMDD symptoms during The D’Amelio Show’s season 3 premiere. “Basically, extreme anxiety, depression, losing the will to live and a lot of irritability and anger,” she shared during the show’s September 20 episode. “Hopefully, the people around me can understand that.”
