MIAMI-DADE, FLORIDA: A Hialeah man in Florida is accused of setting fire to a mobile home in northwest Miami-Dade when six people were sleeping inside, using fireworks as his weapon, police said as per a report.
The incident occurred Wednesday, August, 9 night at a mobile home park on Krome Avenue and NW 185th Street, where a residence was reduced to ashes by the blaze, according to an arrest report mentioned by Local 10.
He allegedly threw lit fireworks at the home and at his neighbours
Police as per the report said Manuel Lazaro Suarez Perez, 44, was angry at the owner of the home, who had kicked him out of the property.

One of the victims as per NBC6 told police that he woke up to see flames inside the home.
He tried to escape, but Suarez Perez threw more fireworks at him which burned his back. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
'Right now, she don’t have anywhere to go'
Another victim, Alisson Aguilar, said her mother owned the home and worked hard for it. She said she and her family had to run for their lives as the fire engulfed the residence.
“It’s very hard for us because my mom, she worked hard for that trailer,” Aguilar said. “Right now, she don’t have anywhere to go.”
Suarez Perez was arrested on Thursday and he faces multiple charges, including first-degree arson, six counts of attempted first-degree murder, burglary and aggravated battery.
He is being held without bond
He is being held without bond and was ordered to stay away from the victims. “It’s like you work for nothing. It’s very hard to see all that burn,” Aguilar said.
Meanwhile, in other news, a Miami-Dade police officer was arrested on Thursday in Miramar. He is accused of throwing McDonald’s cheeseburger at his wife and punching her in the head.
Perez had an argument over financial and infidelity issues which turned physical
Police said the victim told responding officers that she and her husband of three years, Miami-Dade police Officer Andres Perez, 34, got into an argument over financial and infidelity issues, but their argument turned physical.
Officers reported that the wife claimed Perez stormed into the kitchen where she was, threw a McDonald’s cheeseburger at her and then punched her on the right side of the head behind her ear.
Perez was arrested on one count of battery. His bond was set at $1,000. It is not yet known if he was disciplined or terminated.
