LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Joe Rogan's 'The Joe Rogan Experience' is a popular podcast with a diverse audience, with some guests making over 30 appearances, while others have only two.
Elon Musk, who has appeared three times, aims to make four appearances, despite the challenges of securing an invitation. The business magnate recently shared a two-word response, revealing whether he will return to 'The JRE' podcast.
Will Elon Musk appear on Joe Rogan's podcast?
The South African billionaire made his initial appearance on 'The JRE' in 2018, but he hasn't engaged in a conversation with Rogan since 2021 when he was among the first guests after Rogan signed a deal with Spotify.
Since then, he acquired Twitter, a move supported by Rogan. Fans naturally desire them to have a conversation. On October 12, a fan urged Musk to make a fourth appearance on Rogan's show, stating, "You gotta go back on Joe Rogan!"
Musk gave a straightforward response, saying, "Will do," and subsequently, the fan's request was fulfilled.
Fans are thrilled by those two words and are now urging Musk to convince Rogan to stream live on X, just as he recently did while playing Diablo 4.
It remains unclear if he will return to the podcast anytime soon, or if that's something for the future. However, he's clearly open to the idea.
Joe Rogan applaudes Elon Musk's audacious decision to purchase X
On the latest 'Fight Companion' episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast, Joe Rogan delved into the evolution of social media over time and praised his friend Elon Musk.
In his discussion about the internet, Joe Rogan noted its evolution over time. It transformed from a space of absolute freedom of speech, where anyone could freely express themselves and discuss any topic, to a more sanitized and regulated environment.
He discussed how the government's involvement in social media, along with advertisers, led to a growing demand for control over their platforms. This fundamentally altered the internet from what it was just a few years earlier.
Rogan said, “Well things have totally changed once the government got involved in censoring social media and all the tech platforms came on board with it. And all the advertisers put pressure on them, that changed everything."
He further added, "Because you think about how wild the internet was and then how tame network television was. Network television is now slightly less tame. And the internet is way different."
Rogan praised Musk saying, “And until Elon bought Twitter, we were kind of f****d because there was not one place where you could just wildly talk s**t."
The Texas native concluded by stating, "And you go on Twitter any day of the week, you see Obama’s wife is a man and all kinds of crazy s**t. A lot of porn, so much porn on Twitter.”
