UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: Dr Sandra Lee treated three patients with different skin conditions on August 8 episode of 'Dr Pimple Popper.'
Jeb, one of the patients, enjoys going to the beach but hesitates because of the numerous blackheads, pimples and cysts on his body.
Dr Lee, the dermatologist known for her pimple-busting skills in videos that have received millions of views on the Internet, talked about her lucrative TLC series and how her brand name came to be.
According to Dr Lee, the new season of 'Dr Pimple Popper,' which premiered on TLC on June 21, includes ten brand-new episodes featuring "show more of a variety" of surgeries and diseases.
Season 9 of 'Dr Pimple Popper' will air every Wednesday on TLC through August 23. Here's everything you need to know about Jeb from the episode 'California Bumpin.'
Who is Jeb from 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9?
Jeb revealed to the TLC during his introduction that he has cystic acne. It started on his hip and has now spread to his back and face. "They are upsetting," he said.
The lumps vary in size from a pinhole to a golf ball, and some are even larger. Occasionally, he gets whiteheads. But most of the time they stay red and have a black rim. This was the moment when it became unbearably painful for Jeb.
"It's almost like sticking your finger in your eye and hold your eye open," Jeb said in a comparison. "It is one of the most painful things I have been through in a while," he added.
What happened to Jeb on 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9?
So, what's the cause behind Jeb's bumps? When Jeb initially approached Dr Lee, his bumps seemed disgusting and uncomfortable. He told the TLC doctor that he had previously met with three doctors and gotten no helpful advice.
When Jeb revealed his back to the TLC cameras, it looked like a minefield. Jeb left Dr Lee's office with more hope than he had when he arrived, hopeful that his labs would be normal.
Dr. Lee dispelled all the myths about blackheads, whiteheads, pustules, pimples, cysts and nodules. The TV celebrity addressed everything from prevention to blackhead removal and the serious consequences of doing it wrong. Dr Lee began by differentiating between blackheads and whiteheads.
Dr Lee then went on to explain what whiteheads are. Dr Lee explained how to treat both blackheads and whiteheads, saying, "You want to really clear those pores out, so you want products that are going to help clear those pores out, things that are going to exfoliate."
Dr Lee stated that comedone extractors are essential when it comes to the best equipment to employ.
Where is Jeb from 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9 now?
Jeb was seen walking on the sand in his update, and he didn't seem uncomfortable or afraid to show his skin on the beach. His back is recovering quickly. However, as Dr. Lee advised him, he needs to have a healthy liver in order to take stronger medications.
