NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Celebrity radio host Howard Stern is at the receiving end of severe backlash for his sexist on-air comments directed at female celebrities over the years. Stern, 69, sparked outrage with a now-viral TikTok video that featured a slew of his inappropriate remarks against a number of female show guests, including Anna Nicole Smith, Lisa Marie Presley, Mariah Carey, Sofía Vergara, and Courtney Love.
In the clip, the ‘Howard Stern Show’ host can be seen asking Presley inappropriate questions regarding her underpants. “You wearing panties? What do you wear, a thong?” Stern asked before asking how she looks in her underwear. “I don’t know,” the ‘Lights Out’ singer replied and Stern said, “You know how you look.” Further, Stern made comments on Carey’s body, saying, “First of all, your breasts are incredible.” The singer tried to avoid Stern’s remarks but he kept passing comments about her breast.

'You got a nice stomach'
In other parts of the compilation video, Stern called Courtney Love’s body "hot" when she appeared on his show wearing a cropped tank top. “Ooh yeah, you got a nice stomach,” Stern told Love as she tried to take off her jacket. “Just stand there for a second, let me look at you. Body’s hot,” he added. Despite Love's efforts to divert Stern's attention, the radio presenter went on to give her more compliments on her appearance. “I would do a lot to that. I could make you see things,” he said, referring to Love’s body.
Later, Stern even suggested that Smith isn't aware of her weight because of her outfit, and invited her to come on a scale after mentioning that he'd want to guess her weight. “The way you dress and stuff, I don’t think you’re aware that you’re a heavy-set woman,” Stern told Smith, to which she replied, “I know I’m a big woman, so what?” In another clip, he was seen telling Vergara that breastfeeding her baby (at the age of 19) must have been "unbelievable." The compilation video soon garnered immense social media attention, with many users slamming the radio host.
'Poor women looked so upset'
“He shouldn’t have had a platform of success for so long. I don’t get how he’s still relevant,” one user wrote. “If Howard Stern was interviewing me I'd be so uncomfortable and leave,” a second user said while the third wrote “The one of Anna Nicole Smith breaks my heart. How they all bullied her on there, the poor woman looked so upset and uncomfy. She was always beautiful.” “Howard Stern is honestly the creepiest man on earth, he is basically how dudes comment on girls,” another person said, according to USA Today.
