CLEVELAND, OHIO: The undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez has revealed that he is not aware of the upcoming Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis because he does not use social media that often.
The co-main event of KSI vs Tommy Fury's Misfits Boxing's Prime Card, which takes place on October 14, will be Paul vs Danis. The fight card is unquestionably the year's largest influential boxing event.
Canelo Alvarez is unaware of Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis
The 33-year-old admitted recently on an episode of the 'Full Send Podcast' that he did not know about the next match between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis.
“No [I'm not following Paul vs Danis]. Not at all. I don't know what you're talking about. No [I'm not active on social media.] Sometimes, I delete [the] apps on my phone... Yeah, you lose so much time [on these apps],” he said.
Alvarez's bizarre phone usage makes sense, especially given how little free time he has these days. This Saturday, September 30, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the 33-year-old is slated to fight undisputed light middleweight champion Jermell Charlo.
With a 59-2-2 pro boxing record, the Mexican has defeated legendary fighters like Gennady Golovkin, Sergey Kovalev, and Billy Joe Saunders.
Dillon Danis trolls Logan Paul
Logan Paul recently spoke with Ariel Helwani of 'MMA Hour' on a range of topics including drug testing and various event traits. During the interview, Paul provided various responses, including their jabs at one another.
Paul also said that his fiancée will be present at the upcoming battle between him and Dillon Danis.
He took particular to emphasize that Danis is subject to a restraining order. He said that because there was no genuine physical restraining order in effect, she was permitted to attend the event.
Obviously, once the news began to spread online, Danis had to respond with his inflammatory words.
Danis tweeted, “Of course, Logan making her come... she can't be banging dudes while she's there. I'm working on getting front-row tickets for all of Nina's exes, but I can't; they'd fill the whole arena.”
