The artist explained to the outlet, "When I first came out with music, it was very important for me to put out a very strong message for my first song, and so, I made sure that 'Build a B***h' (which is my first ever single) is true to myself."

The pop sensation revealed that she had experienced bullying during her formative years, which made it challenging for her to fully accept and express her true self.
"I grew up being bullied and not really accepting who I was, so that song kind of made me feel some type of empowerment for me to put that out and write it," she shared.

“I wear a lot of edgy, dark clothes, especially in my music videos. With my collection with HUGO, it was just very easy to explain to them what I wanted. I’m just so happy that we came together and put out this collection because it’s like my everyday style,” shared Bella Poarch.
