Are Paige Spiranac and Tiger Woods collaborating? Social media influencer reveals she 'misses watching' golf legend play, fans label him 'GOAT'

WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO: A former golfer turned Internet sensation, Paige Spiranac is undoubtedly among the most well-known influencers in the world of sports. Despite her love-hate relationship with Golf legend Tiger Woods, it seems now Spiranac is an ardent supporter of Woods.

30-year-old outspoken Spiranac never shies away from bringing her opinions in public and she believes that Woods has been judged too harshly for his behaviour off the golf course. Not only this but, she took to Threads to share how she "misses watching" golf legend play.

'I miss watching Tiger Woods play golf'

Spiranac, who is known for her golf analysis on social media, took to Instagram Threads, to share her opinion on Woods. On July 11 Paige wrote to her 207k followers, "I miss watching Tiger Woods play golf". At the time of writing, the thread had over 1300 likes and 90 comments. This is not the first time, she has supported Woods, but earlier, on her podcast 'Playing a Round with Paige Renee', she said, "Even when all this was happening, I think people were being too hard on him." She continued, "You look at your own life and the things you've done, no one lives a perfect life, we all make mistakes."

Back in 2021, Spiranac expressed her support to Woods after news broke of him cheating on his ex-wife Elin Nordegren. Since Woods was not there for Hideki Matsuyama tournament following his horror car crash, Paige even took to Twitter that she misses, the golf legend. The five-time Masters champion struck a tree with his SUV while traveling at about 87 mph in a 45 mph zone. He had a significant ankle injury, and two broken lower left leg bones, and spent three weeks in a hospital in Los Angeles before being able to go back to Florida.

'The GOAT'

Fans actively commented on Spiranac's remark on Woods. A user wrote, "Maybe The Match with you and Tiger would be entertaining for sure." A second user wrote, "It's fun watching him play golf with his son." A third user wrote, "The GOAT". While a fourth user wrote, "Miss watching Tiger play well. Seeing hobble around a course in obvious pain, just kind of makes me sad for him." A fifth user wrote, "He was a special player to watch!"
