EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY: While Taylor Swift and her gang went to support the Kansas City Chiefs during their match against New York Jets on Sunday, October 1, ‘Ant-Man’ star Paul Rudd was seen sharing a laugh with the man of the moment, Travis Kelce.
Fans were in awe on Sunday, October 1, as three of the largest fan groups cheered for the Kansas City Chiefs - namely the Swifties, Marvel fans, and the NFL fans, of course.
The NFL fans and Taylor Swift’s ardent followers have been shipping for the Chiefs tight ender ever since the ‘Lover’ singer made an appearance during the September 24 match to support Travis Kelce.
But this week, the Chiefs not only received the support of the 12-times Grammy-winning superstar but also half of Hollywood royalty.
Swift was accompanied by the Marvel superstars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman along with Blake Lively, Sophie Turner, and Sabrina Carpenter, among others.
Seeing the combined star power, the internet went berserk with several keen-eyed fans finding out interesting information from the match.
'Travis Kelce truly living in his greatest possible timeline'
An exuberant fan said excitedly, "Omg we have Ant-Man, Wolverine and Deadpool all in the house watching the Chiefs! It’s so fun!"
Someone else commented, "Travis Kelce truly living in his greatest possible timeline."
Another fan said, "Why is suddenly half of Hollywood in the game LMAO Cryin."
"Kelce is probably more internationally famous than paul rudd rn," said another fan.
Referring to Rudd's loyalty to the Chiefs and his regular attendance at their games, another fan commented on the post, "This man loves Travis more than Taylor does."
With Ant-Man in the house, the character was referred to in several tweets. One fan said, "He’s just there to shrink down and sit on Taylor Swift’s shoulder."
"Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were there too," said another fan.
A keen-eyed fan observed, "Ant man Green lantern Wolverine Serena Van Der Woodson Taylor Swift Chiefs by a million."
Someone else commented, "Man becomes friends with taylor swift and is now talking to every celebrity in existence."
Travis Kelce's on-air invite for Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift definitely played the ball that was thrown into her court well as she has made the internet go berserk with her consecutive appearances in the Chiefs’ game.
During an interview with host Pat McAfee in ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on September 21, Kelce was asked to "expand upon" his dating rumors with Swift, which McAfee said was "being talked about by the whole entire world."
Without confirming the rumor, the two-time Superbowl champion said that he "threw the ball in her court."
Addressing Swift on-air, he then said, "I've seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead [Stadium],” before adding, “You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit."
He continued, "We'll see what happens in the near future.”
