Convicted killer Alex Murdaugh is demanding a new trial for the murders of his wife and son – claiming that mysterious “newly discovered evidence” has come to light since his conviction. In a bombshell motion filed on Tuesday, his attorneys Dick Harpootlian and Jim Griffin allege South Carolina Clerk of Court Rebecca Hill tampered with the jury at his trial – because she was driven by fame and a desire to secure a book deal.
