LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: British singer Adele is “obsessing over every last decision” regarding the renovation of her $58M Beverly Park estate, which is creating friction with her fiance, Rich Paul. The Grammy-winning songstress bought the 3.6-acre estate in 2022 and has been involved in its renovation since.
An insider told Radar Online that the ‘Easy on Me’ crooner was not being easy with the aspects of the renovation that would make the mansion her dream home, adding that the singer-songwriter and her sports agent fiance had different opinions on little things, including tiling and wood flooring.
‘She can’t make up her mind’
In 2022, the ‘Hello’ singer bought the mansion, which was previously owned by Sylvester Stallone. However, she called for an entire overhaul of the property. Sources reportedly said, "She walks around with color swatches in her purse and is constantly on her phone comparing faucets.” They added that her indecisiveness was the source of contention for everyone involved, saying, "She can't make up her mind, and the constant back-and-forth is making the work much harder than it should be."
Sources continued, "She has the architect and general contractor on speed dial and is obsessing over every last decision." They also revealed that the entire second floor had been torn off and the work was going on at full pace, but Adele's excessive involvement was making it difficult for Paul to cope with.
Sources added, "Rich just wishes the whole thing was done, but Adele has immersed herself in every small point. It's turning into a nightmare!"
Are Adele and Rich Paul having a child?
The house has eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a steam room, a sauna, an office, a cinema, an infinity pool, an art studio and an eight-car garage. There were rumors that Adele was serious about having a baby with Paul. An insider told Heat Magazine, “They’re being very open about it and she’s been dropping serious hints about welcoming a little one very soon, too,” adding, “They have been picking out baby names, setting up a nursery in their new home – it’s been full steam ahead for the past several months.” Adele has a son, Angelo, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.
