Most Hollywood actors are known for their captivating performances on the silver screen. But there are several stars who, apart from being accomplished actors, are prolific singers. Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp is an accomplished guitarist and has been featured in songs by artists like Oasis, Shane MacGowan, Iggy Pop, Vanessa Paradis, Aerosmith, and Marilyn Manson, among others. In 2015, Depp formed the band called Hollywood Vampires and has released a self-titled album and ‘The Rise’.
Keanu Reeves
Keanu Reeves was a prominent part of the alternative-rock band called Dogstar from 1991 to 2002. He played the bass guitar with them. In 1996, Reeves turned down the offer to star in ‘Speed 2’ and instead toured with the band. Dogstar has released two albums till now -- ‘Our Little Visionary’ and ‘Happy Ending’.
Kevin Costner
‘Yellowstone’ star Kevin Costner has three albums to his name -- ‘Untold Truths’ (2008), ‘Famous for Killing Each’ (2012), and ‘Tales from Yellowstone’ (2020). He also formed a band called Kevin Costner & Modern West in 2007.
Ryan Gosling
While 'Barbie' star Ryan Gosling has most famously lent his voice in the Oscar-winning musical film ‘La La Land’, he was also part of a band called Dead Man’s Bones. Gosling and Zach Shields formed the band after meeting in 2005. The band released its first eponymous album in 2009.
Robert Downey Jr
Robert Downey Jr released his debut album titled ‘The Futurist' in 2004. He also appeared in the music video for Sir Elton John's song 'I Want Love' in 2001. The 'Avengers' star has also lent his vocals in several movies like ‘Chaplin’, ‘Too Much Sun’, ‘Two Girls and a Guy’, ‘Friends and Lovers’, and ‘The Singing Detective’.
Kevin Bacon
Kevin Bacon formed a band called The Bacon Brothers in 1995 with his brother Michael Bacon. The ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ actor and his brother have since released six albums with their band.
Jamie Foxx
